This is an attractive, spacious, self-contained apartment in a quiet part of the conservation area of central Peebles. It has been highly recommended by guests, many of whom have returned year after year. It will sleep 2/3 guests and a cot is provided for babies and toddlers.
With views to the hills, it is in a sunny south facing position and is easily accessed by car or public transport. It occupies the entire upper floor of a two storey detached house which was built in the traditional style as two separate apartments during the nineteenth century using local sandstone. It is approached by a short flight of stone steps with a handrail at the front of the house.
With free parking this self-catering apartment is in an excellent location for exploring the lovely small Borders town of Peebles. A three minute riverside walk takes you to Peebles High Street, the River Tweed, parks and other local amenities. Being near to the foot of Venlaw Hill (part of Glentress Forest) it is easy to take evening walks to view the town and surrounding countryside. It is also easy to explore the many attractions of the Scottish Borders and the capital, Edinburgh, with a bus stop only a two minute walk away.
