Our Accommodation

This self-catering holiday accommodation in a quiet part of central Peebles is comfortably furnished and well-equipped.  It is spacious, well-lit and centrally heated with a long attractive entrance hall. There is an 18ft (5.5m) long sitting and dining room with a feature fireplace, TV and DVD player and free WiFi.  The separate well-equipped kitchen includes a cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, iron and toaster and has plenty of cupboard space. The large bedroom has a kingsize double bed, hairdryer and lots of drawer and wardrobe space.  All bedlinen and towels are provided free of charge (except cot bedding).  A cot is provided for babies or toddlers and a luxury folding bed with a thick mattress is also available.  A shower room completes the accommodation.

Comprehensive tourist information has been compiled systematically in files and a large laminated Ordnance Survey map of the area with the apartment at its centre is provided for guests to plan their stay.  Paintings by Scottish artists form a feature of this holiday accommodation and there are notes to explain more about the paintings and artists.  Games, jigsaws, fiction and local books about the area and the history of Peebles as well as children’s books are all provided.

Some of our guests have left a list of local birds and information about earlier occupants of the house.  Photographs of earlier occupants have kindly been sent by guests who are descended from them.

Outside there is ample free parking space and a useful lockable store cupboard beneath the front steps is ideal for bicycles, walking boots, pushchairs, fishing gear, golf clubs etc.

This self-catering holiday accommodation is non smoking and we are unable to accept pets, except guide dogs.
